Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle could break its own box office record, surpassing Mugen Train 's success as the highest-grossing anime film of all time. Already leading the box office in Japan, the film premieres in Brazil on September 11, 2025.

The new high-definition trailer shows one of the most anticipated battles in the franchise: Tanjiro and Giyu Tomioka teaming up to face Akaza, the assassin of the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.

Remembering the battle against Akaza

In Mugen Train, Tanjiro and his companions defeated the demon Enmu, but were surprised by Akaza, one of Muzan Kibutsuji's most powerful lieutenants. The clash resulted in Rengoku's death, marking one of the most emotional moments in the series. Now, Tanjiro seeks revenge for his friend and mentor.

Infinity Castle is the first film in the trilogy that will conclude the fight against Muzan. There are no confirmed release dates yet for the next two parts, but anticipation is high to see the conclusion of the Demon Hunter Squad's story.

However, the original manga, written by Koyoharu Gotouge, concluded in 2020, and there are no indications of a continuation. Even so, the work became a phenomenon, even surpassing One Piece in sales in some years.

In this way, Demon Slayer has established itself as one of the biggest forces in Weekly Shonen Jump, leaving fans curious about which title will be the next to dominate the top spot.
