Kanao Tsuyuri hasn't yet shown her true abilities in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, but the character quickly gained popularity among fans. Therefore, Shueisha released a new promotional video to commemorate Kanao's birthday.

Kanao's birthday is on May 19th, so the official Shonen Jump released this Demon Slayer video in her honor. Showcasing panels from the manga, the video provides a brief summary of Kanao's story. Additionally, the video shows her interacting with Tanjiroand meeting Shinobu and Kanae, who are also very important characters in her journey.
Synopsis:
After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro needs to go to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, since his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain of the story, with the mission of killing the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the demon slayers will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the Upper Moon demons again to stop them.
Thus, the first season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019, becoming a successful phenomenon with the movie. The second season premiered on December 5 , 2021 in Japan. Finally, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll after the release of the movie To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
