adaptation anime manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Koyoharu Gotouge revealed on Sunday that Junichi Suwabe is joining the anime's cast as the character Kyogai. However, the Twitter account is currently streaming a video preview of the character.

The cast consists of:
- Toshihiko Seki as Muzan Kibutsuji
- Ryouhei Kimura as Swamp Demon
- Jun Fukuyama as Yahaba
- Mikako Komatsu as Susamaru
- Junichi Suwabe as Kyogai
The animation is handled by studio Ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu), the direction is by Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Zestiria the X, Tales of Symphonia the Animation), and the character design is by Akira Matsushima (Maria Watches Over Us, Tales of Zestiria the X). Ufotable is also credited with the scripts.
Finally, the story of Kimetsu no Yaiba takes place in Taisho-era Japan. Tanjirou is a kind-hearted boy who lived peacefully with his family as a charcoal seller. His normal life changes completely when his family is killed by demons. The only other survivor, Tanjirou's younger sister Nezuko, has become a ferocious demon. To return Nezuko to normal and avenge the demon who killed his family, the two embark on a journey. From a young talent, a tale of blood and swords begins!
The anime will have 26 episodes.
