The anime adaptation of Devils' Crest revealed its first official trailer during Anime Expo 2026. In addition to the new footage, the production confirmed a worldwide premiere on November 6th on Prime Video. The promotional video also features the opening theme song “Shinka,” performed by singer Ado.
The story is based on the light novel series written by Reki Kawahara , the author known for Sword Art Online . The main cast includes Haruka Shiraishi as Yuma Ashihara and Konomi Inagaki as Sawa Ashihara. The anime will be produced by Production IG , the studio responsible for numerous successful Japanese animation projects.
Synopsis
The story follows Yuma, an 11-year-old boy trapped inside the VRMMORPG Actual Magic along with his entire school class. However, amidst monstrous creatures and deadly challenges, he seeks to rescue a missing friend.
Shinji Ushiro is the chief director , while Kenichiro Komaya is directing the series. Eiji Umehara is supervising the scripts, with character designs by Yukiko Horiguchi . Yuki Hayashi and Naoyuki Chikatani are composing the anime's soundtrack.
Finally, the novel series began in 2022 and already has a digital manga.
