The publisher Futabasha has confirmed that the manga Dinners with My Darling (Aisanai to Iwaremashite moadaptation anime. The work, written by Mugi Mameta and illustrated by Toi Ishino, will be adapted directly from the manga version, according to the official announcement recently released.

The story follows Abigail, a young noblewoman who faces a difficult life even after getting married. On their wedding night, her husband makes it clear that he is not in love with her, leading to an unexpected and even comical moment. From then on, the protagonist begins to deal with her new reality.
Furthermore, the story blends romance with cooking, presenting lighthearted situations as Abigail seeks happiness through food and her relationship with her husband. A curious detail is her past as a former Demon King, which adds a unique touch to the narrative.

The manga's publication began in January 2023 on the Gaugau Monster service. The series already has six collected volumes released, with the seventh arriving in May. Meanwhile, the light novel debuted between 2022 and 2023 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website.
