Where, Uzui is one of the main characters who appeared in the first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba , being the current Sound Hashira . By the way, for those who haven't read the manga, we'll write everything you need to know about the new Uzui.
Who is Uzui Tengen?
First, in his childhood, Uzui was born and raised in a family of ninjas with nine siblings, undergoing painful training. However, before the boy reached adulthood, seven of his brothers were killed, which made him refuse to become a shinobi like his father and brother.
Sound Hashira's Personality
On the other hand, Tengen is a person of extravagant wherever he goes. Furthermore, when he recruits Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, he proclaims himself a "God" and demands to be treated as such. Therefore, even though he calls himself a god, he receives disapproval from the Hashira.
However, despite his stern face and extravagance, Uzui has a caring side that shines through when he is with his three wives : Makio , Suma , and Hinatsuru.
Equipment
Regarding his weapons, he possesses two swords called the Nichirin Cleavers destroy demons " are engraved on their blades .
Thus, Tengen also carries anti-demon bombs, as they have a high destructive power even with the slightest impact on his opponents.
Tengen Uzui's Abilities
His abilities are remarkable. As one of the Nine Hashira , Tengen possesses great superhuman skills such as immense strength, agility, speed, and intelligence… thanks above all to the arduous training he underwent since childhood. In addition to these attributes, he also developed the Sound Breathing technique , a powerful technique.
Echolocation: Uzui can amplify his hearing to use this ability. In addition to locating people, this ability also allows him to count the number of people involved in these confrontations.
Musical Score: Here, Tengen developed this technique using his keen hearing in conjunction with his Sonic Breathing . Therefore, the Hashira can analyze enemy attacks and construct a musical score from these attack rhythms , allowing him to easily read movements, turning each fight into a song. However, the weakness of this technique is that it takes him a long time to complete this analysis.
Enhanced Hearing: He possesses a very heightened sense of hearing. This ability allows him to hear noises underground (useful for identifying underground tunnels and caves), as well as helping him monitor all activity in the Entertainment District (making it easier to locate demons within the area).
Sound Breathing: This breathing style was created by Tengen himself and combines his enhanced hearing, musical scores, and bombs that cause great damage to Oni. We will see him using it (probably) in 3 forms :
Breaths
First Form: First, using his twin swords, he throws bombs with great force to cause damage. These bombs then produce a sound like thunder;
Fourth Form: Now, he keeps his swords separated, spinning them rapidly, and uses the metal chain that connects them in conjunction with the bombs;
Fifth Form: The user holds one of their swords and spins the other using the chain that connects them. In this form, they can also use bomb launchers for greater physical damage.
Finally, the new season airs in Japan on Sundays and is streamed by Crunchyroll and Funimation in Brazil.
