Akira Toriyama is in charge of the script and character design. He was already starting work on the script while the previous film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, was still in production.
Just like the previous film, I'm heavily leading the story and dialogue production for another incredible film. I shouldn't really say too much about the plot just yet, but be prepared for some extreme and entertaining fights, which may feature an unexpected character. Planning for the new film began in 2018, before the release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The film aims to tell "a story on a grand scale." In addition to story composition and character design, Toriyama is also writing dialogue for the film.
