live-action adaptation of Elden Ring has a release date. The film premieres on March 3, 2028, and has confirmed a cast of 13 names. Among them are Kit Connor, Nick Offerman, and Cailee Spaeny, who had already been mentioned in recent rumors.
In addition to well-known names, the production brings together actors from various film and television projects. The cast includes Ben Whishaw, Tom Burke, Havana Rose Liu, Sonoya Mizuno, Jonathan Pryce, Ruby Cruz, John Hodgkinson, Jefferson Hall, Emma Laird, and Peter Serafinowicz.
Directed and produced by Elden Ring
The direction will be handled by Alex Garland , a filmmaker known for works such as Ex Machina and Civil War. The project is a partnership between A24 and Bandai Namco Entertainment , the company responsible for the original game released in 2022.
George R.R. Martin is involved as a producer on the film. The author contributed to the narrative foundation of the game alongside Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of FromSoftware. His level of creative involvement in the film's screenplay has not yet been confirmed.
