The illustrations recreate the scene where Shinji loses his temper with Asuka Langley Soryu in the film "The End of Evangelion." So, anyone familiar with the scene should remember that it involves Shinji. However, the images attempt to transform this scene into something more amicable through Disney-style artwork.
Although the Disney style has this friendly element, the weight of the scene remains tense, with Shinji being caught in this situation.
At the beginning of The End of Evangelion, Shinji goes to the hospital to visit Asuka and ends up having an anxiety attack. Therefore, the scene ended up having repercussions for showing a negative side of the protagonist and provoking the repulsion of many fans.
Synopsis:
The story takes place in 2015, after the world rebuilt itself following the devastating impact of a catastrophe known as the "Second Impact."
