The manga that continues the Fairy Tail (Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest) will be adapted into an anime, according to information published on the Twitter of the artist Atsuo Ueda.

Synopsis:
After Acnologia and Zeref, Fairy Tail became stronger and more energetic! Natsu and his friends set out in search of the 100-year quest. Will something new happen?!
The manga is written by Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda. It is a direct sequel to Mashima's main series, focusing on Natsu Dragneel and his team from the titular wizard guild as they attempt to complete an unfinished centuries-old quest.
Finally, the manga was launched on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket manga app in July 2018, and licensed by Kodansha USA for an English-language release in North America. As of July 2021, nine tankōbon volumes have been released in Japan.
