The renowned company Square Enix released Final Fantasy VII for PC in Japan this Thursday and announced that an HD remaster of Final Fantasy VIII for PC is also in full swing. Final Fantasy VIII was released for PlayStation One and Windows computers in 1999 and 2000, respectively. The game follows protagonist Squall and his love interest, Rinoa, as they attempt to stop an evil sorceress from the future.
Last year, Square Enix officially announced the remaster of Final Fantasy VII. The remaster brought the PC version to Japan for the first time. The game features a 5-speed mode, exclusive avatars, and high-resolution compatibility. Final Fantasy VII International for PC is sold for 1,000 yen.
