Gakusen Toshi Asterisk (The Asterisk War: The Academy City of the Water) gets a new promotional video. The animation is by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Magi), the direction is by Kenji Seto (Wooser no Sono Higurashi Kakusei-hen) and the character design is by Tetsuya Kawakami.
The series premieres on October 3rd on Japanese television.
The original manga story takes place in the city of "Asterisk," which became famous for being the world's largest stage for entertainment battles called "Wars." Boys and girls from six academies, where they fulfill their wishes and wield the gleam of weapons, compete for supremacy – Amagiri Ayato is one of them.
Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, written by Yuu Miyazaki and illustrated by Okiura, debuted in 2012. The publisher Media Factory released the eighth compiled volume on May 25th.
