The March issue of Kodansha's Good ! Afternoon magazine published the final chapter of Gamon Sakurai 's Ajin: Demi-Human manga this Friday. The 17th and final volume of the manga arrives on May 7th.
The manga had already reached its climax on January 7th.
Synopsis
The story follows the life of a student named Kei Nagai, who discovers he is an "Ajin" after being hit by a truck. "Ajin" are beings with extraordinary powers of recovery and regeneration, considered immortal. Seventeen years ago, they first appeared on a battlefield in Africa. Since then, more of their kind have been discovered within human society. Consequently, they are seen as non-human creatures and dangerous to humanity, being hunted and captured by the government.

Furthermore, the manga spawned a trilogy of 3D CG OVA films: Ajin Shoudou in 2015, Ajin Shoutotsu in May 2016, and Ajin Shougeki in September 2016. These films were produced by TOHO Animation at Polygon Pictures. Additionally, the anime adaptation of Ajin premiered in January 2016, airing for two cours until December. It was licensed by Netflix again at Polygon Pictures, and consisted of two seasons of 13 episodes each.
Finally, in September 2017, Ajin: Demi-Human received a live-action adaptation directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro.
