The official website for the " Ghost in the Shell " franchise has been updated and now features a new trailer for the film, which is coming out this year. The video shows several scenes from previous films followed by the new animation.
Kazuchika Kise (director of Ghost in the Shell Arise) will serve as chief director of Project IG, and will also design the characters. Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell Arise) will handle the script.
The premiere in Japan will take place on April 20th.
