The new anime Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045 from Netflix now has a release date. The new adaptation arrives on the platform on April 23, 2020.
With animation by Production IG in collaboration with Sola Digital Arts, the series is directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed), and the character design is by Ilya Kushinov (The Wonderland).

Finally, the new series will have two seasons with 12 episodes each. The first season will be directed by Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and the second by Aramaki (Appleseed).
