As announced last September at the “Tokyo Game Show,” the hit game God Eater will be getting an anime adaptation. Scheduled for release this year, Bandai Visual released a teaser showing all the game's stages up to the franchise's 5th anniversary, briefly showing scenes from the anime produced by studio Ufotable (Fate Stay Night, Fate/Zero).
Takayuki Hirao will direct the series at Ufotable, with character designs by Keita Shimizu (Tales of Phantasia, ToHeart 2 key animation).
The premiere will take place this summer.
