Grisaia no Kajitsu

The official website for the anime Grisaia no Kajitsu (The Fruit of Grisaia) has released the first trailer. The series is based on an adult-themed PC game. The series premieres on October 5th on Tokyo MX.

Tensho (Kin-iro Mosaic) is directing Grisaia no Kajitsu at the animation studio 8-Bit (Infinite Stratos) with character designs and animation direction by Akio Watanabe (Monogatari Series Second Season, The World God Only Knows). Elements Garden is composing the music for the series' soundtrack.

The opening theme will be performed by Maon Kurosaki of the band fripside (Toaru Majutsu no Index II), and vocalist Yoshino Nanjou ((Love Live! School idol project) will perform the ending theme.

The story of Grisaia no Kajitsu takes place at Mihama Academy, where five seemingly ordinary girls attend this school for a "certain reason." A sixth student transfers to this school, Yuuji Kazami, who, in turn, has a somewhat obscure personality that doesn't stand out compared to the five girls, who are different from the ordinary. As they get to know each other, their understanding deepens. Through slow progression, each of their hearts is affected. When Yuuji arrives, the story of each of the girls, who are trapped in their past, begins to change.
