The startup Xross Road , backed by the TV Asahi group , announced a $1.5 million investment to boost HANASEE . This innovative platform uses artificial intelligence to transform scripts and light novels into high-quality manga . Therefore, the system functions as a creative engine that accelerates the discovery of new intellectual properties.

Unlike common tools, HANASEE uses multiple AI agents specialized in creation. While one handles the illustrations, another focuses on story composition and panel layout. In this way, the tool ensures visual and narrative consistency in long works. Furthermore, professional artists supervised the system's training to maintain the traditional rhythm and fluidity of Japanese pages.

On the other hand, the company Xross Road plans to integrate blockchain technology to manage copyrights by 2026. This will allow creators and studios to test markets quickly and at low cost. The main focus is to bring incredible stories to a global audience with unprecedented efficiency. However, the closed beta phase is currently only accepting invited guests.
