HBO Max is updating its catalog and will be adding anime such as: ThePromised Neverland, Inuyasha, Mob Psycho 100, Madoka Magica , and Aldnoah.Zero.
The battle between streaming services is only just beginning, especially in the anime market.
Therefore, the HBO Max service was launched on May 27th. Crunchyroll offered 17 anime series at launch and added four more in June, ensuring that new anime will arrive on the service every quarter.
HBO Max is also streaming the entire " Studio Ghibli" of 21 feature films from GKIDS. According to the platform, this will be the first time Studio Ghibli films are being streamed on any platform. Spirited Away, Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Ponyo, Castle in the Sky, The Tale of Princess Kaguya, and other films will premiere at launch.
Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Rooster Teeth are also offering content through the service.
The HBO Max streaming service costs around $14.99 per month in the US. The service will eventually offer around 10,000 hours of content. It features content from other WarnerMedia brands such as Warner Bros., New Line, DC Entertainment, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, The CW, Turner Classic Movies, and Looney Tunes.
