We have revealed the opening sequence for the new anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu (Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou). According to the official website, the series premiered today, July 1st, on Japanese television.

Synopsis:
The story takes place in the village of Hinamizawa during the annual Watanagashi festival, which serves to celebrate and give thanks to the local god, Oyashiro-sama. According to each cycle of the story, one of the friends becomes paranoid and commits murder along with his own friends.
Finally, the first season of Higurashi premiered in October 2020 and consisted of 24 episodes.
