Historié gets an anime adaptation produced by LIDEN FILMS

Hitoshi Iwaaki 's manga Historié has officially received an anime TV adaptation . The announcement came with the first teaser visual and a teaser trailer, increasing fan anticipation for one of the most respected historical works in modern manga.

Published in Monthly Afternoon, Historié follows the intense journey of Eumenes, secretary to Alexander the Great, exploring political intrigues, strategic battles, and decisions that shaped history. To date, the manga has 12 volumes released and has surpassed 4.7 million copies in circulation, reinforcing its relevance in the seinen manga scene.

In the promotional visual, Eumenes is shown walking in front of the city of Cardia and a curved horizon, symbolizing the weight of his choices. Meanwhile, the animation will be handled by Liden Films, known for its visually impactful productions.

Furthermore, Iwaaki celebrated the announcement with a special message, highlighting that the story began over 40 years ago and now comes to life in motion. Finally, the anime's official X profile is promoting a giveaway of an autographed shikishi, further increasing fan engagement.
