In the current manga arc, after Hayase Nagatoro and Naoto decided to become a couple, they began planning their first kiss. Although they both planned scenarios and situations on their own, in the end they decided to return to the place where they connected most: the art club room. To talk, Nagatoro invites Naoto to sit next to her, indicating that they are no longer just friends and that they should start getting closer.

In doing so, Naoto begins to wonder if it's the right time to kiss her, especially since he has no idea how Nagatoro will react.
She decides to help him and asks if he wants to kiss her, leaving Naoto speechless. In fact, this is the last dialogue of the chapter, as the rest of the pages show Naoto slowly approaching Nagatoro's face, who closes his eyes and places his lips in anticipation of the long-awaited kiss.

In the end, after the beautiful romance of this teenage love, we witness them both walking hand in hand towards their homes, with the promise of a next chapter. But what are Nanashi's future plans for this relationship? Will there be anything more to tell in "Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san"?

It didn't take long for manga fans to comment on the kiss:
- What I never knew was why Senpai never had the courage to be more masculine.
- Love defeated, heterosexual love.
- The leap this manga has taken is impressive; at first I was very determined to stop reading it, but the truth is that the story has become something enjoyable to read. All the characters contribute and evolve, it's incredible.
- One of the best things I've read in recent years.
- That's how romantic comedies should be: about 100 chapters of development, they get married, and move on with their lives.
- I've been following this manga since 2020, and it makes me so happy to see this.
