Silver Mine connects to the One Piece Gold movie

This unprecedented saga begins on June 26th and sets the stage for the feature film One Piece Film Gold, which premieres in Japan on July 23rdin over 740 theaters. As revealed, the Silver Mine storyline fits into Luffy's group's journey as they travel towards Zou Island.

During the journey, Desire, a pirate from the Silver Pirate Alliance, attacks the group and captures everyone along with Bartolomeo. Afterwards, they are taken to Silver Mine Island, a metallic fortress controlled by Bill, user of the Gutsu-Gutsu no Mi, capable of forging weapons with ease.
