Check it out:
In the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death , which tells the past of Satoru Gojo , there were some episodes that received criticism, for not having animation at the same level as the 1st season of the anime. The episodes in question range from 25 to 28, which adapt Gojo's battle against Toji Fushiguro .
According to the animators, the scenes were darkened and the colors were reduced for broadcast on Japanese broadcast TV. Although this generated criticism from the public, the treatment was necessary due to the law that requires reducing colors and lights in TV programs to avoid problems such as seizures.
On the other hand, the Blu-ray release, which arrived this week in Japan, features the episodes' original animations in all their beauty. In the photo table above, we can see the comparison of animation for TV and home video, in addition to noticing that the original colors and brightness make a big difference.
