In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen , Satoru Gojo is considered the strongest sorcerer of all, and many fans have grown attached to the character because of this aspect and his charisma. However, Hiroshi Seko , the anime's screenwriter, stated that Gojo is not as invincible as he seems.

In an interview in Japan, Hiroshi Seko comments on Gojo's appealing charm and his weakness, which makes the character even more endearing. Although he is the strongest sorcerer and has a lot of confidence, the screenwriter says that Gojo has a vulnerable side, which makes him more human.
"I think that, since [Gojo] is on a different stage than ordinary people, he probably sees things differently and has a different view of life and death. That's why, on the surface, he's so goofy. Akutami-sensei, the author of the manga himself, said that Gojo can do anything if he tries, so he doesn't try.".
I think Gojo is the strongest, but not invincible. He has a soft heart, and when he's provoked, he can be really weak. On the other hand, someone who doesn't have that weakness isn't very appealing. In that respect, Gojo is extremely strong… but he also has a human touch and is somewhat vulnerable. I think that makes him a very appealing character.”
Synopsis:
The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight against curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. To protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the Jujutsu sorcerers as a trainee under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of them all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and consisted of 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA .
