After Gojo was immobilized, the leader of the Curses revealed that he is not actually the real Suguru Geto; that body is merely a vessel now. However, the villain is surprised when Geto's body resists and attempts to regain control. Ashitaka , the protagonist of Princess Mononoke , goes through a similar situation when his body tries to act against his will. Comparing the two anime, it seems that Ashitaka's lack of control inspired Geto's scene.
Synopsis:
Since Yuji Itadori, a high school student, became involved with the secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, he has been training to confront curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. Therefore, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a trainee under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and consisted of 24 episodes animated by Studio MAPPA. In addition, the studio also handled the animation for the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
