Through MyAnimeList, otakus can vote on the anime they're most excited to watch each season. The site then reviews users' personal lists to generate a ranking of the most-voted anime. After receiving a total of 281 votes, Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 took first place as the most anticipated anime of the July season.

Synopsis:
The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight curses—evil beings that haunt the living world. To protect his friends and family, Yuji decides to become a sorcerer and joins forces with other members of Jujutsu Kaisen, including his mentor, the powerful sorcerer Satoru Gojo.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes animated by the studio MAPPA .
