The anime Killed Again, Mr. Detective? (Mata Korosarete Shimatta no desu ne, Tantei-sama) has released a new promotional video, confirming its premiere on April 2, 2026 on Japanese TV. The adaptation features the opening theme song "Stardust Eureka," performed by Multidimensional Control Mechanism YODAKA, a solo project by Naohiro Hayashi.

The story follows Sakuya Outsuki, a young man who tries to follow in his detective father's footsteps. However, he always ends up involved in the cases as a murder victim. Alongside Lilithea, he repeatedly returns to life to solve mysteries.
Production and crew of the anime
The anime is directed by Takashi Naoya at Lidenfilms, known for recent productions in the market. Mio Inoue supervises the scripts, while Akiko Kumada is responsible for the character design. The soundtrack is by Shuhei Mutsuki.

The main cast includes Rikuya Yasuda as Sakuya, Shion Wakayama as Lilithea, and Yoshino Aoyama as Yuriu. Other well-known names, such as Rie Kugimiya and Katsuyuki Konishi, also participate in the production.
Origin of the light novel and adaptation
Killed Again, Mr. Detective? is a mystery light novel written by Teniwoha and illustrated by Riichu, published by Kadokawa since 2021. The work combines investigation with supernatural elements, exploring the protagonist's recurring deaths.
In addition, the series received a manga adaptation illustrated by Inaba, released in 2022 on the Dra Dra Flat website. The printed version was completed in two volumes, consolidating the story parallel to the original material.
