During a recent interview, character designer Kyōji Asano, responsible for the highly anticipated One Piece remake, revealed that work continues, but progress has been slow. He commented that he was still drawing some scenes from the anime the previous day, signaling that the project remains active—although without major visual updates for now.

Currently, fans are eagerly awaiting any concrete news about the remake, announced as a collaboration between Toei Animation and Netflix. However, as Asano himself stated, "we haven't made much progress yet," indicating that development may take longer than expected. Meanwhile, concept art and behind-the-scenes images continue to be released sporadically, such as the illustration shown in the interview—full of details and references to the work's universe.
