The official website for Little Busters! Refrain released a promotional trailer featuring the song "Boys be Smile" by singer Suzuyu. The lyrics in the video say: "Very soon, this dream will come to an end."

In the original visual novel game by Key, "Refrein" is known as the final scenario, unlocked after completing the scenarios of all six heroines. Director Yoshiki Yamakawa and his assistant Chikara Sakurai are directing the entire project along with studio JC Staff. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in October.
