adaptation anime of Lord El-Melloi II-sei no Jikenbo (The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II) received a new trailer this Thursday (27). The anime will be broadcast on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV and Tochigi TV on July 6th at 24:00 (effectively July 7th at 00:00), before being broadcast a few hours later on MBS.
The adaptation of the "Rail Zeppelin" story from the novels will include the original content in the first part, and the "Rail Zeppelin" story in the second part of the anime.
Synopsis
The story introduces Lord El-Melloi II, Kayneth's successor, as well as his apprentice, Gray. We are then introduced to the Clock Tower, the headquarters of the Wizards' Association in England. There, Lord El-Melloi II and Gray solve various magical mysteries involving the Wizards' Association.
Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-, Bloom Into You) is directing the series at TROYCA. Ukyō Kodachi (Chaos Dragon, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) is in charge of series composition.
Jun Nakai (GATE) is designing the characters. Yuki Kajiura is composing and arranging the show's opening theme song, "Starting the case: Rail Zeppelin." Kajiura is also composing, arranging, and writing the lyrics for ASCA's ending theme song, "Kōtenshi.".
Finally, "Episode 0" of the anime premiered during a special on December 31st. Furthermore, Crunchyroll is streaming the episode in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
