The official Twitter account for the Love Live! revealed a new image for the second season of the anime Love Live! Superstar!!, as well as its premiere date of July 17th of this year.

Thus, the first season premiered on July 11th on Japanese TV, produced by Sunrise and directed by Takahiko Kyōgoku , with character designs by Atsushi Saito (Black Fox).
Synopsis:
Love Live! Superstar!! takes place at Yuigaoka Junior High School, a newly established school located between the Omotesando, Harajuku, and Aoyama neighborhoods of Tokyo. Five girls, including Kanon Shibuya, have a fateful encounter with the school's idols. Kanon then decides: “I love to sing. I want to make something a reality with music!” Many feelings converge on a star who has only just begun to grow. The future is blank and full of possibilities for these girls, and the story is only just beginning.
Finally, the franchise began in 2010 through Sunrise, Lantis , and Dengeki G Magazine.
