Synopsis

The story takes place in the city of Maebashi, in Gunma prefecture, and follows five high school girls. The protagonist, Yuina Akagi, lives an ordinary but unsatisfying life. Everything changes when a mysterious frog named Keroppe invites her, along with four other girls, to become the "Maebashi Witches." They then begin working in a magic shop, where they sing, dance, and grant wishes.

The film is directed by Junichi Yamamoto, known for works such as Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion. The screenplay was written by Erika Yoshida, who worked on Bocchi the Rock! and Tower of God.

Finally, the anime premiered in April 2025 and was streamed globally by Crunchyroll. The main characters also perform the series' opening and ending themes.
