Today (19) a new film titled “Make a Girl” was announced with 3D animation by Gensho Yasuda, with promotional art trailer. The film is scheduled to arrive in the summer season of this year.

Therefore, the film is directed by Gensho Yasuda , with Kenichiro Suehiro (Cells at Work!, The Eminence in Shadow, Goblin Slayer, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) composing the music, and Kadokawa Animation handling its distribution.

Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) will voice number 0, with Shun Horie (Kazuya Kinoshita in Rent-a-Girlfriend) as Akira.

Synopsis:

The story follows a high school student named Akira, who invents an "artificial girlfriend" called Number 0. Yasuda and his studio Yasuda Gensho are creating the film in collaboration with the 3D CG studio Xenotoon. This new project promises to engage audiences with its visually stunning storyline, exploring contemporary and emotional themes.

Finally, the anime “Make a Girl” is an adaptation of the 3D short film titled “Make Love,” conceived independently by Yasuda and presented on February 8, 2020. This two-and-a-half-minute short was awarded the prize at the 29th CG Animation Contest, the oldest computer-animated competition in Japan.

Furthermore, Yasuda founded Yasuda Gensho Studio in 2021 after working as a CG animator for Nitroplus. However, his independent short films, created in Blender, are popular on Twitter and TikTok, with over 5.8 million followers.
