My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

A 37-year-old Japanese man has been ordered arrested for running a pirate website that shared numerous download links for anime . According to TV Asahi , the man worked as a freelancer in the city of Koga in Ibaraki .

Police stated that the website operated by the man contained URLs for 30,000 videos . Every time a visitor entered the site, they earned 0.10 yen.

Therefore, in two months he managed to earn about half a million yen ($4,300).

Finally, the local legislation states that the penalties can be severe. Having such a website in Japan can mean up to five years in prison and a maximum fine of five million yen (US$43,600).
