The October issue of Monthly Shonen Ace will publish a one-shot manga based on Sony's Killzone . The Killzone manga, featuring new characters and an original story, will mark the franchise's first manga adaptation.
The short manga will be set on the planet Vekta, where the ISA and the Helghast are waging war. ISA mercenaries Ross and his partner Huey meet Chajans, the sole survivor of the ISA platoon that was exterminated by the Helghast. When Ross hears about the destruction of Chajans' platoon, he decides to undertake the platoon's mission of protecting a target himself, in order to receive a reward.
Kadokawa Shoten will publish the one-shot to coincide with the Japanese release of the PSVita game, Killzone Mercenary, which is scheduled for release on September 5th.
