The October issue of Monthly Shonen Ace will publish a one-shot of Sony's Killzone . The Killzone manga, with new characters and an original story, will mark the first time the franchise has had a manga adaptation.
The short manga will be set on the planet Vekta, where the ISA and Helghast are waging war. ISA mercenaries Ross and his partner Huey meet Chajans, the only survivor of the ISA platoon that was wiped out by the Helghast. When Ross hears about the destruction of the Chajans platoon, he decides to carry out the platoon's mission of protecting a target himself, in order to receive a reward.
Kadokawa Shoten will publish the one-shot to coincide with the Japanese release of the PSVita game Killzone Mercenary, which is scheduled for release on September 5th.
