The fourth episode of season 2 of Sono Bisque Doll (My Dress-Up Darling) brought a special surprise: new official artwork highlighting Marin Kitagawa. The character will portray the protagonist of The Student Council President is the No. 1 Host, in a bold and stylish look.

The image released on official channels once again demonstrates the attention to detail that has captivated audiences since the anime.

New characters strengthen Rei Kogami's arc

In addition to the brand-new visuals, the episode also revealed the voice actors who join the plot in Rei Kogami's arc. Keito Hironiwa takes on the role of Murakami , while Hinaki Yano plays Rei Kogami himself . Mayumi Tsukishima also joins the cast as Koyomi Mishima , and Yuko Kaida as Tokiko Tsumugi . These additions promise to bring even more layers to the story.

A production that stands out in both visuals and storytelling

The second season is directed by Keisuke Shinohara (BLACKFOX) at CloverWorks, with a script by Yoriko Tomita (The Elusive Samurai). Kazumasa Ishida is responsible for character design, while Takeshi Nakatsuka composes the soundtrack, known for his work on The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody.

The original manga, written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda, was published between 2018 and March 2025, totaling 14 volumes.
