anime adaptation is here! The manga Mattaku Saikin no Tantei to Kitara ( Detectives These Days Are Crazy! ), written and illustrated by Masakuni Igarashi, has been adapted into an anime.

A teaser accompanied the announcement, along with a promotional image. The premiere is not expected until 2025.
Synopsis:
Keiichiro Nagumo was once a prodigy detective, solving any mystery that crossed his path in his youth. But now, his glory days seem distant. Aged and disillusioned, he barely recognizes the world around him. Everything changes when Mashiro, a determined high school student, knocks on the door of the decaying Nagumo Detective Agency. With an unwavering desire to follow in Keiichiro's footsteps, she demands to become his assistant. Together, they form an unlikely duo, embarking on new cases and, perhaps, rediscovering their lost passion for investigation.
Finally, the serialization of Mattaku Saikin no Tantei to Kitara began in ASCII Media Works' seinen manga magazine, Dengeki Maoh, in April 2016.
