Game producer Keiji Inafune, responsible for the Mega Man franchise, announced the first teaser for the animated series based on his newest game, Mighty No. 9, at the AnimeExpo event. The Tokyo- based animation company Digital Frontier is developing the series for a global market .
Inafune (Megaman) and his company raised over US$3.5 million in their crowdfunding campaign last October. The side-scrolling adventure will be released in Spring 2015 for PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
