News about the highly anticipated Studio Ghibli  will soon be featured on Japanese screens, but until then, Hayao Miyazaki took the opportunity to criticize the poster for the new film, according to producer Yoshiaki Nishimura, who participated in a recent press conference with Miyazaki.

The co- founder and director became angry after seeing the poster on the studio wall related to the new film When Marnie Was There , saying that the use of a blonde girl as the main character is an outdated and unnecessary practice.

The new adaptation focuses on a children's by author Joan G. Robinson, andwill be directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (The Secret World of Arrietty). The film will be released on July 19th of this year.
