The official website for the anime Mr. Villain's Day Off (Kyūjitsu no Warumono-san) has released a new promotional video featuring the opening theme song “Yūho” by Ivudot and the ending theme song “Kyūsoku Jūden” by GLASGOW.
The video also reveals the anime's premiere date as January 7th.

Thus, the direction is by Yoshinori Odaka (B-Daman CrossFire) at the studio Shinei Animation (Takagi-san the Master of Teasing and SynergySP (Hachinantte Sore wa Inai Deshou!)), script by Midori Gotou (Hozuki's Coolheadedness), and character design by Tomomi Shimazaki (Elegant Yokai Apartment Life).
Synopsis
The story follows a terrorist organization from another planet that attempts to conquer Earth. But an extraterrestrial from this organization called "General" fights tirelessly against Earth's defenders every day in a life-or-death battle! However, today is his day off.
Therefore, in 2018, they began publishing the Kyūjitsu no Warumono-san manga. Furthermore, Square Enix will release its 4th volume on April 21, 2023.
