The Mushoku Tensei franchise is about to conclude another chapter in its run. Publisher Kadokawa has confirmed that the fourth volume of Redundant Reincarnation will be the final volume in the light novel series . It is scheduled for release on November 25th in Japan by MF Books .

The book functions as a direct epilogue to the main story of Rudeus Greyrat. However, instead of focusing on major conflicts, the narrative follows events after the conclusion of the original plot, exploring moments in family life and new paths for characters already known to readers.

What happens after the end of Mushoku Tensei?

The story shows Rudeus after the decisive battle in the Kingdom of Biheiril. Among the events covered are Norn's wedding, Lucie's first steps at school, and situations involving characters such as Dohga, Isolde, and Ghislaine. Thus, the material expands the universe of the series and answers questions left after the conclusion of the main novel.

The franchise's legacy continues

Rifujin na Magonote originally published the epilogue between 2015 and 2017 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The print version began publication by Kadokawa in 2023. Meanwhile, the anime continues to expand with Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation III, the third season which premiered in July 2026 and is available via Crunchyroll.
