The My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) universe continues to expand with special news. This time, a short story created by Kohei Horikoshi for the fan book Ultra Age will be adapted into an anime. The short, titled "I am a hero too," will premiere this summer.

This production is part of the franchise's 10th-anniversary celebrations, which continues even after pivotal moments in the manga. This new project reinforces the interest in exploring parallel stories and original content within the same narrative universe.

“I am a hero too” is not the first experiment in this format. Recently, the short film “More” was also released as an adaptation of another short story from the manga. Both projects broaden the perspective on characters and situations that do not appear directly in the main plot.

Project celebrates 10 years of My Hero Academia

This initiative is part of a series of actions planned to mark the decade of the work, originally published in 2014 in Weekly Shonen Jump. However, over the years, the series has established itself as one of the biggest modern successes of the shonen genre.
