Like the previous ones, the new trailer presents a summary of Luffy through the East Blue until he forms his crew. However, the beginning of the journey won't be so easy, as strong and dangerous pirates stand in his way. So, through the scenes, we can see Luffy facing Arlong, Zoro facing Mihawk and demonstrating his sword skills, Garp springing into action, and the Straw Hat Pirates reuniting.
Finally, the main cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Emily Rudd as Nami. The series premieres on August 31st on Netflix.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a rubber body after eating the magical Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, Luffy decided to become a pirate and set sail across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
