Netflix has revealed the first promotional image for its live-action series, based on anime and manga Yu Yu Hakusho's Yoshihiro Togashi. According to the image, we can see actor Takumi Kitamura as Yusuke Urameshi.

Kazutaka Sakamoto is the executive producer of the live-action adaptation. Akira Morii is producing the adaptation at Robot. The Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series is scheduled to premiere in December 2023 on Netflix.
Synopsis:
In short, Yu Yu Hakusho follows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a delinquent who, in an uncharacteristic act of altruism, is hit by a car and killed while trying to save a little boy by pushing him out of the way.
Thus, the Yu Yu Hakusho by author Yoshihiro Togashi was published in Shōnen Jump between 1990 and 1994. Finally, the Yu Yu Hakusho anime adaptation arrived in Brazil on the former TV Manchete.
