As a result, there are laws against the use of such magic, and knowing this, a court is created to preside over all legal proceedings regarding the use of these powers. The anime follows the protagonist Cecil, the Benmashi (assistant lawyer) in the story, and their associates, as they defend those who use magic.

Studio ARMS, the same studio behind (Elfen Lied, Kite, Queen's Blade: Rebellion), is directing. The premiere is scheduled for January 2014 on Tokyo MX and BS11 channels.
