The new film Shin Gekijoban Gintama Yoshihara Dai Enjo (Gintama -Yoshiwara on Fire-) has released an action-focused trailer that has raised fan expectations. The preview highlights the direct confrontation between Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura against Abuto, with a premiere scheduled for February 13th. Furthermore, the production has confirmed a special post-premiere event with the franchise's cast.
The promotional video covers the battle arc against Abuto, vice-commander of the Seventh Division of the Harusame Space Pirates. Meanwhile, the clash between members of the Yato clan gains momentum and intense choreography. Even when facing a clearly superior enemy, Shinpachi takes center stage emotionally by vowing to protect Kagura at all costs.
However, the most impactful moment comes when Kagura awakens a power beyond its limit, driven by her bond with her companions. Thus, the trailer makes it clear that the film will focus on high-level drama and action.
Created by Hideaki Sorachi, Gintama takes the characters to the underworld of Yoshiwara, ruled by Hosen. Thus, the film revisits one of the manga in a new cinematic adaptation.
