New Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Information

Warner Brothers has officially announced that the live-action adaptation of  Hiromu Arakawa 's Fullmetal Alchemist is set to premiere in Japan in winter 2017. Filming is scheduled to begin in Italy in early June, and will conclude in Japan in the second half of August.

As we reported before , the film will star Ryosuke Yamada , Nagisa in the live-action Assassination Classroom, will play the role of Edward Elric ;
Tsubasa Honda , live-action Blue Spring Ride as Futaba , will play Winry Rockbell (top right of the image below);
Dean Fujioka , live-action Happy Marriage!?, will play Roy Mustang (Bottom in photo on the left);
Yasuko Matsuyuki as Lust . (bottom right corner)

Fumihiko Sori (live-action Ping Pong) director of the film said, “I want to create a style that follows the original manga as much as possible. The cast is entirely Japanese, but the cultural background is Europe. However, it is a style that does not represent a specific race or country.”
