At 5bp . announced that the new light novel Steins;Gate series will be called Steins;Gate -The Committee of Antimatter and will take place six years after the events of the first Steins;Gate . Chōshirō Miwa will write the new light novel , and Tadasu Yoshida will illustrate . Additionally, Chiyomaru Shikura wrote the original , and Naotaka Hayashi will direct .
The new story will take place in 2016 in the city of Akihabara in an alternative timeline. After graduating from college , Okabe industrializes the “ Laboratory ”, but in reality, Daru is the only one earning all the income and Okabe makes a living accepting requests to act as a detective . One day building owner's daughter Nae asks Okabe to investigate her father, who she says is acting strangely . However, Okabe remembers his experiences from other services , and becomes worried. However, before he can think about going far, he encounters Suzuha , a girl new to the Steins;Gate chronology.
The light novel will be released on August 29th , and will retail for ¥1,300 (about US $13 ). For now, let's wait for sales and stay tuned for a future adaptation on the small screen to happen.
