The official website for the anime TokuNana (or Special Crime Investigation Unit – Special 7 ) revealed a new poster visual and trailer for the anime this Wednesday. The anime will premiere on October 6th.
Synopsis of the anime:
"Long ago, dragons ruled the world of elves, vampires, homunculi, and humans. In the present, the dragons have disappeared, so those who remain have chosen to live alongside them, assimilating their appearances to those of humans. In the year 2x19 in Tokyo, times are mostly peaceful, but a group called "The Nine" causes chaos in their mission to obtain the power of the dragons and change the world. The police form a unit made up of various professionals to fight against the Nine; the Special Crime Investigation Unit – Special 7 (Tokunana). These individuals have abilities that surpass those of ordinary humans, to the point that there are rumors of rebellion against them. A rookie, Seiji Nanatsuki, joins the unit. While provoked by the other members with various personalities, he tries to solve the case involving The Nine with his brilliant mind and straightforward thinking. Will he be able to find justice in the worst of circumstances?"
The anime is directed by Harume Kosaka , with a script by Yuuchirou Higashide and music by Ryou Takahashi . Nanae Chrono is responsible for the original character designs, while Hiroya Iijima adapts the designs. The opening theme song is called "Take On Fever" and is performed by the band OLDCODEX .
